A THUNDERCLAP ON CAPITAL HILL

At the heart of a pandemic that does not end another earthquake, political, this one, has just shaken the institutions of a new world hinting at death, thus endangering a democracy which until this day, from the top of a Statue of Liberty contemplating a frozen New York, still seemed to resist the blows struck by the phantoms of another time, remaining however, still and always the guardian of the temple after so many conflicts having divided an America that Thomas Jefferson made a dream come true.

But how much longer would she resist?
