An Invisible Footprint

Water.  So beautiful to look at, to bring calm to the mind by an oasis, lift to a surfboard in Tahiti, and the quenching of a prodigious thirst of a marathon runner.  It connects us to each other, everyone and everything in the Universe.

Water is also an invisible type of footprint being felt all over the world.  With the lowest consumption of water coming from South Africa at 59 Billion to China’s whopping 1207 Billion cubic metres, the planet we all share is now in crisis. According to the UN, by 2025, two thirds of the world’s people will live in countries with high water stress or scarcity. Eighty percent of all illness in the developing world is water related, with unsafe water killing 200 children every hour.

Mirages is committed to helping to bring water to Earth’s thirsty humanity. And this is how you can help.  With every piece of art sold by Mirages, a portion of the proceeds will go to helping those who can reach out to countries which need it now.  The Mirages Artisans website is under construction and will debut in the Fall. We will keep you informed of our progress.

To bring health, prosperity, and hope.
